These photo props are perfect for capturing those sweet milestone pics, and they’re super easy to make with your Cricut and adhesive vinyl.

To Create Your First Day of School Sign with Cricut - Gather These Materials
- Adhesive Vinyl - You will need 1 color
- Free First Day of School SVG File from Wispy Willow Designs (Download below!)

Let's Get Making ✂️
Upload the First Day of School SVG File - Make sure you grabbed the FREE Download above.
Resize the First Day of School SVG to the size of your sign blank.
Once resized - click the design and press ATTACH on the bottom left corner. Then go up and click MAKE in the top right hand corner.
Mat Set Up
This screen will show you how the First Day of School SVG design will cut on your Cricut Cutting Mat.
Place your Adhesive Vinyl on your mat (make sure to cover all areas where your design will be cut).
I use the Premium Vinyl Permanent Glossy Setting to cut.
Weed and Apply Transfer Tape
Now remove the excess Adhesive Vinyl from around the design. This is called weeding.
After weeding - cut and place transfer tape on top of the decal. Apply pressure with a squeegee and remove air bubbles.
Now it's Time to Place your First Day of School Decal on your Sign Blank.
Remove the backing paper liner from the decal. Then apply decal to center of your sign.
Make sure to adhere well and remove any bubbles with a squeegee.
Great Job! All done!
